菱铁矿

    菱矿的化学式为FeCO3,理论含铁量为48.2%,FeO为62.1%,CO2为37.9%。    自然界中常见的是坚硬致密的菱铁矿,覆盖在菱铁矿层的表层,在自然界中分布较广的为粘土质菱铁矿,它的夹杂物为粘土和泥沙。    菱铁矿常夹杂有和钙等碳酸盐。菱铁矿石含铁一般在30%~40%之间,经焙烧后,因分解放出CO2,使含铁量显著增加,矿石也变得多孔、易破碎且还原性变好。    国内外球团厂使用的铁精矿化学成分见表1和表2。    在球团生产中,有时除使用精矿外,还使用一些二次含铁物,例如,黄铁矿烧渣及钢铁厂的含铁废料。    黄铁矿烧渣俗称“硫酸渣”,系黄铁矿制硫酸后的副产品,硫酸渣通常有红、黑两种颜色,粗、细两种粒度。红色为赤铁矿,含铁低(一般<35%)、粒度怄气粗(0.1~3mm)的烧渣,是由沸腾炉溢流口排出来的矿渣,可用作水泥助溶剂或经分选提高铁品位后做球团原料。粒度较细(<0.1mm)的,是由旋风除尘器分离出来的矿灰,可用来制球团矿。表1             国内球团铁精矿化学成分和粒度

    黄铁矿烧渣有较高的气孔率,含硫一般为0.5%~2%,铁含量为30%~50%。黄铁矿烧渣中常含有色属(如Cu、Pb、Zn)或含,所以用量是有限的。但日本、美国、加拿大、罗马尼亚,有专门处理烧渣的球团工厂。我国某厂也以硫酸渣为造球原料,且在生产铁矿球团工厂使用硫酸渣选别(磁先、浮选或重选)后所得精矿,w(TFe)≥60%,-0.074mm的精矿含量可达80%左右。通过分选,可提高铁品位、降低杂质含量。    近年来,随着我国球团业的飞速发展,世界铁精矿资源日益紧缺,尤其是磁铁矿资源紧张,进口赤铁精矿的配比在不断增加。这也是我国大力发展链篦机-回转窑法球团的原因之一。
